Bridal portrait Philadelphia skyline

The Loews Hotel Philadelphia provides such an amazing view from so many of its rooms. I knew I had to photograph thie stunning bridal portrait in front of the window while also capturing a bit of the view. The Maggia Sottero bridal gown was perfection with its lace cap sleeves, covered buttons, and illusion back. Philadelphia weddings are my favorite to photograph whether they are elegant ballroom weddings or modern and industrial. I love incorporating elements of the city into each wedding as well as different architectural elements as well. Each venue in Philadelphia tells a different story and most have a history behind them as well. I love finding out details of how a venue started and what it was previously or even currently. This specific wedding was at the Reading Terminal Market which is still used everyday for shoppers and diners! I love when venues are still used for their original purpose. Reading Terminal is unique because you can use the restaurants inside as your "caterers" which gives you the freedom to choose from a wide variety of amazing food for your cocktail hour and reception. The gorgeous bride in this photo got ready at Loews Hotel which is just around the corner from Reading Terminal and within walking distance.

Location: 1200 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
