This Indian bridal portrait ended up being one of my favorites from this past year. After the traditional Hindu wedding ceremony and a short break for lunch, the bride and groom changed from their traditional outfits and into something different for the reception. These colors compliment the bride so well! I love that we were able to do a second round of photos throughout the city as well. This was taken at the Courtyard Marriott in Philadelphia where the prep took place. The reception was at the Crystal Tea Room just down the street. The jewelry also matched her sari with navy anad emerald accents. The diamond necklace is my favorite though. I love the elegance and the detail involved in the bride's look from the sari to the jewelry and her henna. She truly looks like a work of art! Indian weddings are a lot of work for everyone involved, especially the bride. The entire week is quite a whirlwind. Our bride handled everything with such grace. This portrait was taken before the final party and after the ceremony where the end of the celebration was near and everyone could relax a little bit more. Both the Courtyard Marriott and the staff at Finley Catering were exceptional to work with as well as Kaleidoscope Weddings who planned the whole affair.
