Indian bride and groom

I love this formal portrait of an Indian bride and groom prior to their wedding reception at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia. After a two-day wedding extravaganza their weekend was coming to an end. The ceremony was done and after lunch and a short break the bride and groom got dressed in their reception attire and headed back out into the city for more photos. We went to Broad Street for a traditional City Hall photo and also Rittenhouse Square. While walking back to our Uber after completing most of the photos in Rittenhouse, we caught this beautiful sunlight streaming in next to the library and couldn't resist a few sun drenched photos. This photo is bright and cheerful and gives the viewer the idea that the couple had a city wedding. The bride and groom had the mendhi ceremony and Hindu wedding ceremony at the Courtyard Marriott downtown Philadelphia, the puja was held at the couple's nearby home, the sangeet was at the Skybox in Fishtown, and the final events of the weekend, the reception, was held at the stunning Crystal Tea Room in the Wanamaker's Building. This epic Philadelphia Indian wedding weekend was full of color, gorgeous details, great food, and even better - amazing friends and family.

Location: Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia.
