The details that I love photographing are always the rings and the cake. Why? I don't know. I usually photograph the rings twice during the day if I have time - once during prep just to take a simple photo and then again during the reception when I need to give the guests a break. If time is running out during the reception than I know I at least got photos of the rings earlier in the day and vice versa. These wedding rings were photographed during the wedding prep at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. The Philadelphia hotels all have this travel guide in their guest rooms but this was the first time that I was able to use it for photos. I love how it adds a slight element of Philadelphia history to the photo. Someone actually asked me if I put the rings on the real Liberty Bell! Of course that would never happen and I'm pretty sure that would break a ton of rules. This fall wedding was at the Reading Terminal Market and the prep took place at the Loews Hotel just down the street in Center City Philadelphia. I love working at the Loews Hotel. The view is always gorgeous and the modern and simple design and decor works great for wedding prep photos.
