It's rare that any of my weddings or engagement sessions happen to take place on a perfect 70 degree day with just enough sun to make photos dramatic. A lot of weddings can be dreary or rainy and engagement sessions can get hot. This session in particular was taken during the summer months and was scorching. We started at Longwood Gardens and from there went to the Art Museum for more photos. The sun was going down when we were there but it was still hot outside. I am always in awe of my couples that still look incredible even when it's over 90 degrees outside. These two were no exception and remained gorgeous in every photo. The bride to be probably hated being touched because of the heat but you would never guess it in this photo! In an effort to avoid some of the summer heat we moved our engagement session towards the back of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. We stuck to the shade for the most part. The trail in the back near the Waterworks was the perfect spot. It added an element of nature to a gallery of city photos and also kept us hidden from the some for some time.
