On this very chilly, rainy, and icy winter day in December our bride and bridesmaids were serious troopers and made their way through Philadelphia for several amazing portraits. We started at the Merchant's Exchange Building and then headed over the Philadelphia Art Museum. We were able to take photos of the bridal party quickly so that we could get them back to the warm bus! The rainy day gave us overcast skies and a foggy background which gave a different element and feel to the typical backdrop of the Ben Franklin Parkway. The bride chose a neutral color palette for her bridesmaids which was classic and elegant. The bride and groom celebrated their new marriage at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts which was photographed by Philadelphia wedding photographer Noreen Turner. Noreen Turner Photography is based in South Jersey but specializes in Philadelphia weddings. The city has so many iconic locations, such as the one pictured here, and so many hidden gems for amazing wedding portraits. Philadelphia provides classic and elegant backdrops for the new Mr. and Mrs. as well as industrial styles for the modern couples. So many locations are within walking distance of popular wedding venues as well such as PAFA, Hotel Monaco, the Ritz Carlton, Please Touch Musem, and the Cescaphe venues.
