Reading Terminal Market is one of the best wedding venues in Philadelphia. This center city venue has space for hundreds of guests for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. It is centrally located close to hotels and parking for all guests. The market is a historic Philadelphia location and still serves as a hotspot for tourists and Philadelphia residents alike. A Reading Terminal Market wedding is unlike many others. The cuisine is unique in that the couple gets to choose from market vendors to cater the reception so unlike your traditional chicken, steak or fish options, guests get to eat some of the best sandwiches and entrees in the city. This fall wedding in particular had sandwiches from DiNic's, Hershel's East Side Deli, and Vallery Shepherd as well as tacos from Pearl's Oyster Bar. Guests also enjoyed a wide variety of appetizers during cocktail hour as well as Beiler's donuts and Bassett's root beer floats for dessert. During the reception I was able to pull the bride and groom away for a few minutes to take this photo outside in front of the iconic Reading Terminal Market sign. Of course the lights on the sign are on a timer and we were out a bit too late for it to be lit up but I love this photo regardless. I love how quiet the city was at this time and how you can get the feel that this was at the end of the evening when the celebration was dying down.
