This stunning and classic bridal portrait was taken at Loews Philadelphia during the bridal prep. I always take the bride's portraits just after getting ready so her hair and makeup are fresh and perfect. The light coming in to the bride's Loew's Philadelphia hotel room was perfect. The view out of the window was the jaw dropping skyline in plain sight. I loved photographing this stunning bride in front of the window where you could see the city skyline and architectural details while being paired with the illusion back and covered buttons on her elegant Maggie Sottero gown. This portrait is one of my favorites from 2017. The soft light and natural makeup are very complimentary to the bride. The red chair in the background also works well with her skin tone. These traditional portraits are taken usually in the room where the bride is getting ready. Sometimes if the timeline allows it, I will also do some more portraits of the bride and groom individually at the location of their portraits. I will do that especially if the bridal suite is crowded or if we are pressed for time during the prep portion of the day.
