Capturing Your Story, Not Just Your Day

Your wedding day is more than a timeline of events—it’s a collection of fleeting moments, deep emotions, and meaningful connections. As a wedding photographer, my experience goes beyond simply taking beautiful photos. I focus on telling your story in a way that feels authentic, timeless, and true to who you are as a couple.

Years of Experience You Can Trust

With extensive experience photographing weddings of all sizes and styles, I understand how quickly the day unfolds—and how important it is not to miss a thing. From intimate elopements to full-day celebrations, I bring a calm, confident presence that allows you to enjoy every moment while knowing it’s being documented with care.

I’m experienced in:

  • Managing fast-paced wedding timelines
  • Working seamlessly with planners, coordinators, and vendors
  • Handling all lighting conditions, from bright outdoor ceremonies to dimly lit receptions
  • Adapting quickly when plans change (because they always do!)

A Calm Presence on a Busy Day

One of the most common compliments I receive is how comfortable couples feel in front of my camera. I guide you when needed and step back when moments unfold naturally. My approach is a balance of gentle direction and unobtrusive observation—so your photos feel natural, not staged.

Thoughtful, Story-Driven Photography

I focus on more than just the big moments. While I’ll be there for the first look, the vows, and the first dance, I also pay close attention to the in-between moments:

  • The quiet breath before you walk down the aisle
  • A parent’s tearful smile
  • Laughter between friends on the dance floor

These are the moments that often mean the most years later.

Professional From Start to Finish

From our first conversation to the final delivery of your images, I prioritize clear communication, organization, and professionalism. You can expect:

  • Guidance with timelines and photo planning
  • Reliable coverage and backup equipment
  • Carefully edited, high-quality images
  • A seamless and stress-free experience

Photos That Stand the Test of Time

My editing style is clean, true-to-life, and timeless—so your photos won’t feel dated years from now. I believe your wedding images should feel just as meaningful on your 25th anniversary as they did the day you received them.

Let’s Tell Your Story

Every couple is different, and every wedding deserves to be documented with intention and care. I would be honored to capture your day and create images that allow you to relive it for generations to come.

Let’s connect and start planning your wedding photography experience.

Philadelphia Location Details

City Hall

Permits are not required for City Hall! This is a great location to work in as long as you are patient and can wait for crowds to pass through. The architecture is beautiful, and the hallways provide the most amazing and dramatic light.

Philadelphia Museum of Art

The Philadelphia Art Museum has so many great spots to work in ranging from the iconic steps to the waterfront views on the Schuykill River. The area behind the art museum is just as beautiful and can provide a break from the tourist crowds while still providing classic architectural backdrops. Permits are not required for the outside but if you are interested in taking photos inside, you will need advance approval.

Merchant's Exchange Building

The Merchant's Exchange Building is widely known - it's the beautiful circular building in old city and is a very popular location for photo shoots. Permits are required for this area and are timed. They also vary in pricing depending on how many people will be in your group. This location books quickly so if you have your heart set on the Merchant's Exchange, let your photographer know early so they can request the permits for you!

Elfreth's Alley

This popular old city location does not require permits and provides the most adorable nooks and crannies for photos! In my opinion, Elfreth's Alley should be combined with an additional old city location for your photos since a wide variety can be captured quickly here.

Old City

In general, old city is a great area to wander and take photos, especially for engagement sessions where time is on your side. Permits are not required generally, unless you are looking for specific locations like 2nd Bank, etc.

Rittenhouse Square

For casual photos in Rittenhouse Square such as engagements or wedding day portraits permits are not required. If you are having a ceremony here, then you'll definitely need a permit. Just like other locations, I recommend pairing Rittenhouse with a second location for added variety.

Washington Square Park

Washington Square requires a permit and provides a beautiful natural backdrop for your photos. This area can also be paired with nearby locations if you are interested in adding classic Philadelphia architecture.

Cherry Street and Race Street Piers

Each of these locations require separate permits. If you are on a budget, I recommend choosing one or the other for your photos and then walking along the river or to Elfreth's Alley for added variety.

First and Second Bank

Both require permits and luckily, can easily be paired with other national park locations such as Washington Square Park, Merchant's Exchange, 18th Century Gardens, etc.

FAQ

How do you photograph weddings?

I am a traditional wedding photographer with a touch of photojournalism. I photograph the day as it happens but I will step in to clear some clutter or offer posing guidance when necessary. I always give guidance on posing during portraits. The rest of the day I capture as it unfolds naturally.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I am based in South Jersey but mainly work in Philadelphia! I also travel to the Jersey Shore, Bucks County, Delaware, Maryland, and any destination wedding locations!

When will we get our photos?

Wedding photos are delivered 6 weeks after the wedding date and engagement photos are delivered two weeks after the session.

How many pictures will we receive?

I provide an estimate 100 photos per hour of coverage.

How do we book with you?

After we meet (via phone call or in person) and decide if we're a good match for each other, a $1000 deposit and signed contract holds your date.

Do you provide a timeline?

Yes! I work with all of my couples to come up with a timeline and list of all the important family members and friends that you want photographed. I capture everything throughout the day but I always tell my couples to let me know of anything out of the ordinary.

How long have you been photographing weddings?

I started my photography business in 2012 just photographing kids, babies, and families. Then in 2013 I started working in the wedding industry and fell in love!
